I'm also a member there and they've been hit recently by spam-bots with well over 100 new 'members' daily. Almost all post links in their profile and spam the forums leaving messages with web links.

I'm a moderator on another forum and they too were hit hard. I think it's just a matter of being patient while the admin goes through the new registrations and tries to weed out the real registrations.
