I don't know that anyone can tell you. You probably should measure them and have them made custom.

Size of bars isn't the only factor, shape matters too, and that makes for many variables.

Best source would be for you to find an oldschool bike shop with a mechanic over 50. He probably has the solder pot and can make the cable for you.

Otherwise, there is MotionPro.

Again, I don't think there is a listing. Don't you have one on the bike you can measure? Or you think yours isn't stock?

That isn't the most common mod for these bikes, which is why you are having so much trouble.

 

I just put 8” high tomaselli bars on mine, and bought new cables from the XS400 special model. That model has higher bars from factory, and i found the lenght good for my bars, clutchcable even at bit longer than needed.

 

Im from Denmark, Europe, and bought from a danish reseller. I dont know the original Yamaha partnumbers, but here are the links to the parts I bought. They fit XS 400 Special from 1981
