Auto Electrician who can rewire stator in Brisbane?

Does anyone know an Auto Electrician who can rewire a XS400 stator in Brisbane? Or Queensland ?? I have tried google and I rang 6 auto electricians. All the auto electricians said they could do it but they all said they shipped it someone else. There is a guy in Acacia Ridge but I have tried his number for a week and no reply.

Any suggestions??

Are you looking to rewire the connections or completely rewire the stator?
Assuming you're rewiring the stator, the shops you've talked to would all be sending it to an electric motor shop.
You can probably find one yourself and skip the middle man.

Rewire. The one guy they all seem to use is Dave Turner from Acacia Ridge but he has not picked up his phone for over a week.

Motorcycle stator rewiring seems to be a dying art?

It's not terribly different from rewiring any other stator.
He may specialize in motorcycles but any motor winding shop should be able to do it. Might be cheaper too.


There is a shop that's been recommended in the states but I imagine shipping would be prohibitive.
