Bolt on hard tail

I saw this sr400 the other day with a bolt on hard tail. I think it it looks pretty cool. Here in Aussieland converting a bike to hardtail gets expensive so this bolt on is a pretty neat work around.

neat, are those additional holes for adjusting the height/distance?

I think the holes are for joining the solid bar that bolts onto the frame to the hollow tubing of the hard tail.

looks neat, ive seen those for triumphs but never an xs
