Bottom End Timing

Hi, I'm just rebuilding the bottom end on my XS250 and the manual says to line up the "LT" mark on the altenator centre with an index mark on the altenator cover. Does anyone know what index mark they're talking about as I can't see one? A photo would be great if anyone has one. Once I've lined this up, how do you go about lining up the camshaft, are there any markings on that?

I thought the manual had a picture!

the index mark is on the alternator cover so i assume you don't have that fitted yet!

Lol I'm such an idiot, I assumed the cover would cover the whole altenator but I've sussed it now. Timing is all sorted and it's all roughly put back together.
