Hey guys !

I'm planning on lubing my cable on my '81 xs 400 ( 2 drums brakes)
I was wondering what kind of lube you guys are using for your cable ?

I heard that graphite lube was good (Something like this http://www.canadiantire.ca/fr/pdp/jig-a-loo-graphite-extreme-lubricant-0381502p.html#.VWfaH89_NBc)
or teflon dry film too (Like this http://www.canadiantire.ca/fr/pdp/dupont-teflon-dry-film-lube-284-g-0381589p.html#.VWfaRM9_NBc)

So what are you guys using ? I have to lube my brake, clutch, and gas cable.
What is the procedure ? Do i have to remove all the cables from the bike or i can do it with the cables connected ?

Thanks a lot

I use Tri-Flow oil. I prefer to use an oil as it will prevent rust and corrosion as compared to a dry lube. I use a needle oiler and put a few drops down each cable every oil change. Don't forget the tach and speedo cables.
