Cases Stength

What do you guys think of these cases? I am still playing with finishes and am thinking of tumbling them. Do you guys think these cases are strong enough, or will they fall apart? I know there was a lot of aluminum casting in the 80's that was brittle; too much Nickle content or Nitrogen levels, I can't remember which. Anyway, what have been your results just around the shop, hitting them, dropping them, etc.

had mine ceramic cleaned in a tumble drum a few years ago and no probs at all!
