My clutch is acting up. Bike will be in nuteral but when I try to kick start it acts like the clutch is pulled. It does not do it every time, burthe times that it does are I creasing. I don't want to get stranded. Any ideas?

Check the service manual available on the site about how to adjust down at the sprocket cover where the clutch rod is pushed in. That solved a clutch problem I had.
 
I'm not sure what kind of oil is in it right now when I bought it the oil was clean and the level was correct. I will change the oil now, what do you recommended to be the best?

You can search the forum here about oils. Many of us use diesel grade 15W40 oil. It is compatible with wet clutches and contains wear reducing additives. Great oil that is formulated for hard working gas and diesel engines. Any name brand - Shell Rotella, Valvolene Blue, etc.
