finished my MSF class

Well I finished up my msf class today with a co-worker. Glad to report that we both passed with flying colors. I personally recieved 100% on my written and no points for the road test. My instructor said that in his 10 years of teaching the course he has only had 5 people finish ''perfect''.

Time to get riding!

Good going.

I wasn't quite so keen when I took my road test in 1973. With a Beginner's License we couldn't ride a passenger but my brother & I only had 1 bike available on the day of our tests so we both showed up on the same bike.

The tester was outside when we arrived on a thundering Norton and noticed us. When it was each of our turns for our test he asked if we'd ridden there together. We pleaded innocence and after a bit of a lecture he agreed to let us take the test. Luckily we both passed and legally drove away on the same bike.
