Front brakes stick! locking up front wheel Help!!

Okay just installed my front wheel it is drum brake, there is no pull back in the front brake lever the brake just stays down, witch locks up the front wheel unless push back on the brake lever to relieve pressure off the cable any ideas!! All help will be appreciate thank you!

I have a front disc so am not too familiar, however, by your description, there has to be a spring missing or disconnected inside the drum.

Thank you for your reply then drum seems to have throw back I believe my cable is freezing up soaking it in wd40 tonight to try and losen it up

Have you downloaded the manual for your bike? At the top of the Garage page.

I think there will be a drawing or photo showing what should be inside the drum and how everything is hooked up (part 3).
