Gas tank swap. mounting issue.

Hey guys! i just finished prepping my new gas tank! i want to remove my standard/stock xs400 special gas tank to the other, more square/euro style tank. the rubber grommets in the front slide right in! buuut, the rear collar that the bolt goes through is a different size and in a different spot. if any one reading has done this swap, please share what method you used to relocate and fix a new rear mount. any advice would be appreciated!

I've seen about 3 different fixings for rear tanks.

you will have to get creative methinks
