Gave the old girl some love today and polished the tank which was pretty faded, still looks old but has some shine now

this is the stuff I used once on my old valiant. It took bloody ages to do a whole car but could be just the ticket for restoring an old motorcycle tank.

From memory, it lifts dirt out of scratches and makes them less noticible. Then a bit of cut & lots of waxing. But it looks like you have done apretty good job already.

Yes coating paint makes a huge difference, I'd be happy with what you have though. Looks great!
