Hey everyone, I just wanted to drop a line and say hey.

I am about to pick up an XS400 Special (unsure of they year yet) tomorrow and am going to start a bobber'esq build on it. The last bike I had was an XJ400 Seca (82 if memory serves).

I have been working on cars and bikes for 15+ years now so I am looking forward to starting this project. Time to dust off the welder and get down to business.

I am working my way from the last thread to the newest one (no need to ask old questions right) soaking up the information as I see it.

I will try to document my progress as I go along.

welcome! i'm on the mainland but go over occasionally to race at western
