Help. Water in Carbs

Long story short, a little bit of water is in the carbs. The bike tries to start but simply cant idle. The biggest problem is that the carburetor drain screws are both stripped. I ordered new ones but they wont be here for a week. Is there anything I can do right now to help the problem. I also put some "Heet" in the gas tank to hopefully absorb some of that water.

I was thinking of draining all the gas, taking the carbs off, draining the carbs, and putting them back on. Please give me some advice.

Place a basin under the carbs and remove the bowls, on my 81 I have enough room to tuck a small beat up Chinese take-away bin.

Takes but a couple minutes to pull the carbs.
