Inch by Inch I keep crawling towards the day it becomes self propelled.
Right now I am waiting on electrical parts, i.e. rectifier, voltage regulator, etc, then comes the wiring job.

they are from Mikes xs store. 19" black around 50 bucks each...Thanks.

Well all the wiring is done except for the Igniter and voltage regulator. Soon it will be time to check out the fuel system for proper flow and hopefully a start up and ridel.

hey MrY what did you use for your exhaust paint? That's sick! It looks like copper

The color is copper,it is a 2000 degree paint designed for barbeque grilles. I found it at Home Depot.

OK well here it is September and I have to admit it, I took the summer off and the bikes have been collecting dust in the garage,but it is a dry dust so that should be OK.
All my attempts to get fire to the plugs had so far failed so I pulled off the electronic ignition components and replaced them with points. So now I am gearing up to go back into it with a determination that I will be riding this thing this fall. I am at the point of wiring the hot to the coils and set the timing and valves, then add fuel...Wish me luck.
