First time poster!
I recently acquired a 1983 Yamaha Maxim XS400 and am in the process of getting it ready to try and startup. I have been told it runs fine. On the left side of the bike the side cover is missing and the manual I have shows that the air filter sits behind that cover. I don't see a filter or any way to hold the filter in the space. Could anyone maybe upload pics or share some insight? This is really the only thing holding me back from attempting to turn it over.
