I know, I know, maybe this is a personal problem that I should keep to myself.... but my petcock is leaking, as evidenced by fuel all over the garage floor. I just bought my bike (a 1978 XS400 2E, already "street-tracked out) a few months ago, and this is my first problem to tackle. It appears that a black rubber gasket in the petcock has just gone bad over time (looks ragged and swollen). Has anybody ordered and rebuilt their petcock with the rebuild kit from PartsNMore.com? If so, how'd it go? Any help is appreciated.
