Just thought I'd post a couple pictures of the knee dent tank I'm doing. I'm pritty happy with it so far. Although in retrospect I would have made the dents abit smaller.
I started with a pritty bad tank. It was great inside but badly dented outside and covered in bondo. I didn't include original pictures just of the cut outs and the welded in side just finishing the first side I need to run to my shop tomorrow and grab some tools its hard to line everything up and tig weld I only have so many hands and feet.
I'm welding it in my basment at home. My wife hates the fact that I'm building a bike in the basement but hey its warm in the winter.
Let me know what you think I'll post up more pictures when its all done. Paint won't be done till I've finished doing most of the tank handling.
(Also showed a close up (kinda) of where I patched the tank. I removed the badge clips.)
