after stalking the forums for soo long, I finally made my mind and want to make my bike look like this. I love the look of this bike. Now one thing I should say is that I am an noobie when it comes to fab work. BUT I do know people that can make things happen. My question is realistically how do- able is this on my 82 maxim?

were talking

front end swap
monoshock
kawi tank
rear sets
custom tail section

You need a custom sub-frame (the frame that goes under the seat area) and probably a longer/lower mono shock/mount to raise the tail up. The other mods on that bike are pretty self explanatory.

If you can weld well it shouldn't be hard. If you're inexperienced this will be very hard. You need to learn to do some structural welding first.

You might be able to avoid major surgery if you're clever, but it may not look the same in the end.
