Mikuni carb off of 83 maxim 400, RH side missing air screw spring?

Missing air screw spring on the right hand (battery side carb) air/fuel adjustment screw. Doesn't seem right. Took them apart to maintenance and saw this.both sides should have a spring right? This is the adjustment screw directly above the air intake throat. Should the 2 screws both have springs ?

The Pilot screws should both have springs, washers and o-rings. The Pilot screws fine tune fuel at and just above idle, not air.
