haveing some issues with my bike relating to power/fuel.
im really not sure whats going on but here are my symptoms:

-spits
-pops
-backfire
-loud ass gunshot noise
-stalls out between gears

i rode it yesterday with these issues. the bike is really hard to start but idles well
when warmed up(1000-1500rpm) i kno 1500 is a little high. the bike stalls out when i attempt to shift into first.

spark plugs are new. compression it present. plugs have good connection and are
not corroded/dirty. fuel is 97 octane. stock airbox(very clean). charged batt.
mac 2-1 exhuast.

That all sound like you're running a lean mixture to me. First thing I would do is turn in the mixture screws to thumb tight and back them out about 2.5 turns and see it helps, if its still the same back them out another 0.5 turns and repeat without going out past 3.75 turns. If you still have the same issue at around 4 turns its a different problem.

If it was running fine before with the settings you currently have, it sounds like very dirty carbs - or a bad ethanol reaction causing the former.
If it's a new bike to you, and hasn't run well yet, I'd guess dirty carbs.
