I don't know about you guys, but I just love working on the bike with the music blaring. Band of Skulls, Foo Fighters, Black Keys, and Beastie Boys are all in high rotation on the garage sound system (the ancient crackly boom box with CD player and double tape deck!)

What do you listen to while wrenching?

I listen what my player gives me but mainly classic rock. But in different moods some modern beat kicks in.

My system in the garage. Pioneer 2x40 amplifier with 2x35W estonia speaker. Very nice 2.0 system for the space.

In West Virginia, what else but Country Music! Nice Pioneer Tuner Amp with 3-channel system and CD/DVD player. Will add more speakers for 5.1. A 32" TV to be added soon - for watching "The World's fastest Indian", of course!

ok so in the man cave I have old system....old! I got some old late 80's phono-stereo-tape player with mid size bose speakers.I listen to 'the radio'. The Sound FM plays a wide variety of music w/different genres.Yesterday the played only music from 1966. Good Sh1t! They mix it up.

Justin Bieber, that kid rocks harder than ac/dc.

"Pork Chop, Pork Chop, Pork Chop, Nooo!"

Kid know's his stuff for sure

I have yet to convert my furnace room into my workshop (bigarse deep-freeze unit is on it's way out) but when I do i'll be rocking a 2 speaker, 50 watt system and an ipod:bike:

32" LED TV with a computer connected with Logitech 5.1 speaker system. Playing everything from Classic Rock to Modern beats on my home network. Lots of Japanese artists in there too. Also throw on Netflix once in a while for Dirty Jobs, Top Gear UK, or anything that works as background noise... :D

Seriously though, i have no music just 1,000 mosquitoes to keep me company. :banghead:

hmmm... ihome with fat speakers, wrenching to murder by death, ministry, the clash, and lots of metallica.

My former sister-in-law went to a casino party about 25 years ago. At this debauch, she acquired a chinzy, scrub, elky little AM/FM/Cassette Tape machine with a little rat-shit 4-inch speaker.

I have drug this misserable little turd from one side of this country to another through nine housing changes. It has been dropped, kicked, glued, taped, cussed at, splattered in paint and concrete, and peed on by the dog.

And it simply refuses to die.

Still works, gives OK sound for the garage venue and pulls in any channel it can find. Mostly country for me while I'm working (but I read to classical and jazz.)

Depending on my mood the usual suspects are Matt Mays, lots of heavy stuff like Motorhead, old Metallica, Tool and SOAD, Beastie Boys, Mumford and Sons, even Patty Griffin, and sometimes an 80's playlist with Depeche Mode, Petshop Boys, and a bunch of the one hit wonders from back in the day. And sometimes I'll punch up a random station on Live365, usually indie rock.
