thanks to this website, a lot of questions were answered by looking thru past posts. i finally took her out for a ride up the street. the last time she ran was around 20 years ago. she has only 8000+ miles. i bought her from someone down the street for $400. after a cleanup (still more to do)., oil change, tune-up,( there was no gap in the points, retime, a broken air needle jet in carb manifold), chain lube, rejet (main and needle jet), uni filters, new bars, temp seat cover, she still needs new tires. she starts up on the first kick, after warm up- idles down to under 1500 rpm, she runs smooth and strong. shes beautiful. thanks to all that answered questions. thanks to the site. tom

the exhaust is a little loud, it was on the bike. as far as power, i was a little suprised-in a good way. it has more power than i thought it would. i didnt rev it too hard but the midrange power was quite good, she pulls pretty good around 5-6000 rpm. i still need to put new tires on and a few other things.

Nice, also another 2v6 model. Whats your vin number mine is 1578 seams to be a few of these in the ny area. :)
