The paint job looks pretty nice. If you want a better shine you could try wet sanding the clear with a 1500 grit wet/dry papre and buffing with rubbing compound.
My camera didnt do any justice to how much it realy shines. The settings on the camera for brightness are off.Its new and havent learned how to adjust everything on it yet.Thanx for your advice though It probaly wouldnt hurt to wet sand it.The tank has 4 coats of paint and 4 coats of clear. So hopefully the paint wont scratch and if I accidently spill fuel it wont mess it up either. For a small job I have alot of hours of effort into it.
I'm glad it came out so nice. I can't count the number of times I've put in dozens of hours and then had some kind of problem. If you are happy with the brightness and gloss I wouldn't touch it. Polyurethane should be pretty fuel resistant once fully cured.
