Need advice on painting my tank

The paint job looks pretty nice. If you want a better shine you could try wet sanding the clear with a 1500 grit wet/dry papre and buffing with rubbing compound.

My camera didnt do any justice to how much it realy shines. The settings on the camera for brightness are off:mad:.Its new and havent learned how to adjust everything on it yet:shrug:.Thanx for your advice though It probaly wouldnt hurt to wet sand it.The tank has 4 coats of paint and 4 coats of clear. So hopefully the paint wont scratch and if I accidently spill fuel it wont mess it up either. For a small job I have alot of hours of effort into it.

I'm glad it came out so nice. I can't count the number of times I've put in dozens of hours and then had some kind of problem. If you are happy with the brightness and gloss I wouldn't touch it. Polyurethane should be pretty fuel resistant once fully cured.
