Need HELP with tyres / tires

I've busy restoring/chopping a SOHC 82" xs400 but need to know the tyre sizes for the bike.

and if anyone knows where to get them from? idealy id like the main branded tyres, pirelli , Michelin , bridgestone...

Also if anyone knows whats the biggest tyre i could fit the the rear? if a bigger one could fit.

I don't know exactly how these convert into the new sizing system, but I imagine a tire dealer will know.
As to how much you can up-size - try searching on the Forum. I have seen a few threads which touch on the subject.
One of the UK members will likely know where the best dealers are over there.
