Need to replace/work on Brakes, what do I need and what don't I need

While you're there in the rear wheel,it would be a good idea to check the bearings closely and grease/replace them,as they also can do a lot of unnecessary damage to the hub,and possibly lock up at high speed.The old saying"a stitch in time saves nine" makes sense now. lha

Sure. You can either find the appropriate XS to donate parts, or you can fabricate your own solution. How good are your fabrication skills? Are you able to weld? Run a lathe?
