Hi everyone, just wanted to say thanks for this site and all the info on it. I bought an 81 xs400 special around may of this year and I've been working on it since then. It's just about finished (for now) and this site was a big help. Let me know what you think. I'm looking forward to starting the next one, probably a bobber and documenting the build a little better.

I think it's a 71 yamaha DT1E dirt bike tank widened a bit to fit.

i thought it was an older DT tank. just didnt figure out how you fit it. cuz the one i have DEFF dont fit. but now i have a new idea. thanks! lol
