Newbie with an engine question

Hi all- I am new here, I have a XS400SE frame and want to make a brat style bike, with the frame being the custom SE one will the tear drop tank fit it and also will any of the other XS engines fit the 400 frame such as the 650 ect?

I am based in the UK and I had the 250 when I was a learner back in the 1990's and loved it! Cheers

Sorry I didn't realise what I had said, the teardrop tank is the one that it comes with but does the Square standard one also fit the se frame,

No direct swaps. With money or the right tools you can make anything fit. The 400 is probably the limit on the frame design though.

Tanks swaps require cutting the mount and relocating. Seat will be off as well.

This should give you an idea. Had to cut the original mount off, flip it, move it forward. Not too hard!

So will any of the xs tanks work doing what you have describe, including the 250 or is the to narrow?

The boxy tanks from the 3 bikes should all fit the same.
