no more spark!!

hi i m new to the site....liked it so much that i bought one its a xs 400 1982 heritage special that i chopped and made rigid....and i bought 2 other bike for 100$,complete but no paperwork and swap the motor in a motocross kdx 200.... anyway ill post a intro later with pictures...

now...the bike was running fine....and when i got to start it one morning ..nada..there is no more sparks...i swaped all the electronic from my other bike but stille nothing...and i doubled chek everything!!the only thing i dint change is the regulator...could it be?!?!
help me please!!!

check battery first, or is this got the kdx200 engine in?

after hours of striping down the wires...i found out it was the off-on-off switche that was shot!!! i hope it will help somoene out there!!
