Pods and jet kit

Hey guys,

Ive been a round this place for a while now and I'm hooked, every time I have a question it gets answered properly. So thanks for all the good advice.

On to my question. I’m putting on pods and a jet kit and just want a starting point to go with. Ive been shopping around and cant find any super deals on line for the materials I need. Any site suggestions that you guys have had good experience with? MikesXS any good?

Secondly do I need to go two steps for new pods. I have a 81' special II.

Any help with the terminology as far as jetting sizes and so on would help as well. I’m sort of a rookie. Perhaps Ill photograph my process and post it to get my XS400 stripes.

Mikes set me up real good. As for steps, well, mine went up 5 or 6 steps, and I now have a fine selection of various sized jets.

One step = 2.5 in numbers. That tidbit helped me understand the jet options quite a bit.
