well got a chance to use the POR-15 kit for tank rust restoration today.
Verdict....good, stuff I 'm impressed!

My buddy bought a kit to do his cb 350 tank...had a few small pinholes in it...so we did his tank....and the knee dent demo tank at the same time.
I need to get the pint of sealer/paint to finish my tank...but the cleaning solution and primer were enough to do at least 2 tanks ...as long as you prepped them together.
What we did was prep them both by cleaning/rinsing with warm water...then put the solution into one tank and let it work for the 20 minutes sugested...then drain it into the next tank and repeat.
The final coating/sealing paint is not quite enough for both...but you can buy it seperately...so that saves on my cost.....thats his charge for using my garage.
He buys whats needed for his...I get the leftovers...i.e,..paint, welding supplies,etc,..cuts down on my cost...helps him out with a place to work and some help/experience to call on.
Kit was $45...well worth it.

now I can take this tank and finish prime it and put it up for sale...better than new...sorta
