Im looking to buy new wheel bearings, bronze bushings for the swing arm, and tapered needle bearings for the steering neck. What are my canadian options? Or something that won't cost more to ship then the actual part...

Part 2:
If you have any info on bearing/bushing/needle bearing sizes and diameters that would be much appreciated as well. Can't seem to find a conclusive answer on any of these things.

XS650direct.com for the swingarm bushings..

Part #28-1024.

Front Wheel Bearings - Part number 25-1311

Don't seem to have any part numbers or kits for rear bearings but here is a thread to look at that you may find useful. Could take those numbers to a bearing store in your area.

Thanks a million for all the info and research on your behalf. A couple of questions though:
Is this where you got your parts? Like is all this stuff on your bike and working properly?
For xs650 direct, the part works for the xs400?
And that other thread regarding the rear bushings. He states it's for an '82 Seca, would I be able to assume that it's the same for a '79?

Yes I am using all those parts I listed which is why I have part numbers easily.

Didnt do rear bearings as mine were fine so don't have those numbers. I believe they are the same for the maxim/seca but you could remove your old bearings and get the numbers off them or just take them to a bearing supply store and get them matched up
