Hello everyone,
Was at a buddy's out of state over the weekend and we got to talking and ended up yanking the motor out of a Maxim 400 that has been sitting under a pile of junk in his garage for a long time. Before that it was probably kept outside, lots of oxidation etc. Anyway, motor is with me to mess around with. I just rebuilt my own bikes engine from the ground up over the winter and now that I have a taste for it I'm ready to jump in with this DOHC mainly for learning. Currently I'm not seeing any rebuild kits or gasket sets online and was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I understand other than sixth gear the Seca parts are also interchangeable (XS400R/RK).
Just want to make sure I can at least get seals, etc before I open anything up.
