OK folks...I need some ideas here.
I went with the hidden battery and open side cover area on my build...esentially theres nothing in the old battery/airbox area.I like the minimalistic look...but I think there should be some sort of fender/shield to keep debris/water from spraying the pod filters and everything else.
Not that I plan on riding it down dirt roads or in the rain....but you know how it goes.

Any ideas for a shield that wont look odd?

i like that idea. iv been toying with putting the original plastic piece back in mine but it looks to modern. i'm going to try a longer fender that wraps down farther like your doing. i would black yours out so it's not as visible if your going with the sport tracker theme. just my opinion.

that's fine till you ride it :D

then you can't clean coz it'll scratch, love the front fender on that, instant MOT failure in UK

It only needs to be fine once, when you take the pics :)

Nah, but i get your point. Would look lame after a while.
I think you should keep the open space as much as possible. Unless it's clear plexi you're covering it with. (here he goes again) that's my :twocents:. :)
