Rocker pin removal

The manual says to remove the rocker arm pins to thread in a "bolt of the proper thread".

I haven't had search results so any one know what the bolt/thread size to remove the pins?

Removing so everything can be blasted clean.

It uses one of the larger head or case bolts. Don't recall the size but just use one of the longer ones.

I just saw that in a picture caption. Not sure why that can't be put in the text of the manual....

Which manual are you using? The 2 Yamaha manuals I have say to use an 8mm bolt or the 'special tool' (slide hammer). Are you going off of the Haynes or Clymer?
