The bad...
-Tach cable broke off(have new one)
-Previous owner hacked off the chain guard
-slight damage to the headlight(see picture)
-two small dents in tank
-have to hold the choke out, no preset position(needs ball/spring)

Carbs ultrasonic cleaned, twice
New bowl gaskets
New needles and seats

New pilot jets
New carb boots
New spark plugs
New plug wire boots
New yausa battery

New starter solenoid(haven't installed yet)

New throttle cable
Rebuilt front and rear master cylinders
New pads front and rear
New fork seals and dust covers
Bike is inspected, registered, insured and being rode on a consistent basis. Black bike has a title, parts bike does not. Black bike has lien on it from previous owner that transferred over to my name. I will call the bank and get a lien release if that bothers you. Starts, idles, runs, shifts and stops as it's supposed to. Only reason I'm selling is because I feel I'm too big for the bike. I feel cramped since I'm 6'3"/240lbs. Maintains 70mph on the highway with ease. I was going to build this into a nice cafe racer over the winter but I would like something bigger.
Spare parts...
-entire spare parts bike(78 xs400 2e) minus seat and tank
-speedo cable
-oil filters
-complete carb body minus needle and seat
-parts motor is not seized and has good compression
-spare bike has spoke/drum wheels so you can choose whatever look you like
I would be willing to trade for another motorcycle. I like the cafe racer style and want to stick with something that I can build. CB750, CB550, KZ650, XS650 etc. if not then offer me a price. I don't have to sell, I love it and I'm still riding it but would let it go for the right deal.
