Short exhaust

Hello all, just got my first XS 400 yesterday (Brat style) and it looks and drives great. I am a huge fan of nice sound and got a pair of mufflers (?) with the bike. Right now there is the stock system on, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the type of mufflers in the attached picture. How loud it gets? Nice sound? any other issues? Thanks a million and I look forward being part of this great community.

i see they have butterflies which will go some way if fixing any fuelling issues you will have!

If you want load, try megaphones. there's a vid one buried in the forum somewhere

Fueling issues? Butterflies?

little flaps inside the pipes, changes the back pressure to the engine.

open/modded pipes always results in fuelling changes. most of posts are regarding carbs

Actually I kind of like this sound... What kind of sound can I expect with the mufflers on my attached picture? Any ideas?
