shorter shock for bobber build. what fits?

ok guys as you know the stock shock in a 82 maxim is quite long and im looking something shorter to drop the rear end. what is out there that will fit these bikes? maybe a shock from another bike?

I fitted an R6 gas shock on my build.

Well..not for me as the shock was considerably shorter...so I built an extension but nothing a little welding can't circumvent...
