Sorta stuck in neutral

Went around the city today with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Once I got home and pulled in, I couldn't drop it back down to first from being in second. Pulled it in the garage and with a bit of persuasion I got it back into neutral. So now shift into first no problem but now I can't put it in second. What gives?

Sometimes they give you a hard time while standing still, but when you take 'em out on a ride they shift smooth like butter.
I hope that's the case here.

Lol I feel silly posting this now. I eventually figured this out myself after I took it for a spin the next day and came to the same conclusion. Thanks tho sprout root!
