Well guys, i ran into a bit of a problem. A couple screws on the clutch cover are from satan himself. The heads sheared off them. I've tried penetrating lube, torching and screw extractors and a combination of all of the above and the god damn screws still wont budge. Wondering if anyone has any ideas short of re-tapping the hole. Thx

Try welding a steel nut over the stub. The alloy wont weld and you will be able to get a spanner on it.

Are you heating the bolt then allowing it to cool or are you heating it and trying to remove the bolt while its hot? Idealy you should let it cool between trying to remove it this allows the bolt to expand then contract breaking the bond.

The welded nut that drewpy mentioned is great because not only does it expand and contract but it leaves you with something to grab after. If someone went and used permanent locktite its going to take a ton of heat to break that joint though.
