Test Kickstart for spark

so I have my bike 90% put back together. I have most of the electrical done except for the rear blinkers. The headlights and front blinkers work great so I know the electrical is at least somewhat working. I'm trying to figure out if I have a spark but am having a hard time since my bike is a kickstart only version. Is there an easy way to test if I'm getting a spark without killing my leg trying to kick it over again and again? Thanks in advance!

Yes, a kick start will work if you are holding a plug against the block of the motor while you kick. You will still need a good battery in it to get a spark.
