Cool sidecover, is the tank getting the same colour? Hey how did you get the fork legs to shine like that, did you get them chromed or just polished hell out of them?

belive it or not,the sidecover was done by a can,or should i say a couple of cans.i used 2 coats duplicolor nighthawk black pearl,1 coat duplicolor special effect clearcoat, and 8 coats of clear.i have yet to colorsand them.yes, the tank and fairing are geting the same color.I won't be able to paint them for a week or 2 because the weather channel tells me the thermostat on my high tech paint booth will be acting up.the fork tubes i starting sanding them with 600 grit wet or dry sandpaper, then 800,1000,1500,2000,3000,then finished with mothers aluminum polish.it's alot of work but the shine is worth it.the rear cowl is off of a gs400 i picked up for parts for cheap.i have to make a mount on thr frane and then make a pan.thanks for the compliments guys
