Timing Chain Sound

Howdy!
I recently replaced the head gasket. Now I'm not sure if this is the average sound for a 79 xs400 or if it was making it prior. But it sounds like you can hear the chain almost rattle or the tensioner sliding across the chain?

I have not but I will in the next week.

Make sure when you do it start with the left side first. Make sure not to let the motor turn back when lining up TDC otherwise it puts slack in the cam chain making for a bad adjustment.
