Used aluminum foil on Chrome, wow

I imagine this is old news to some of you veterans, but I used small square peices of foil and warm water and used it almost like sandpaper on my chrome and wow, that worked awesome, plus it only cost like three bucks, I read about using 0000 steel wool but was worried about leaving small scratches in the chrome,

Try using an oil, any oil, as the lubricant rather than water. Become even more amazed

0000 steel wool is also effective, but definitely requires ample oil lubrication.
