What does a butterfly valve looks like at idle

Hey guys I was hoping someone could post a pic of what there butterfly valves look like at idle? I know weird question, can't get my bike to start with it set like this, so I wanted to know how far off I am? Because if needs to be more open I've run out of thread on the idle screw.

Every bike is different but you should be able to see a little light at the top and bottom of the valve. The best way I have found is to hold them up to the light. This will also help with "bench" syncing them.
