You don't have points to mess with. The piece there is the pick up coil for the electronic ignition that your engine comes with. The timing is all managed through that coil and the TCI box that is under your airbox.
To time your bike you need to use a timing light, remove the small access cover on the left side engine cover and you would loosen the two screws holding the pick up plate that has the black piece with the 3 wires coming off of it that you have pictured and turn it to adjust the timing using the stroboscope.
However, if the engine has never has never been apart there should be no need to change the timing or mess with that pickup coil.
