What is this?

What is this and how is it supposed to be set? The manual says nothing of it, but shows a points system.. I don't know what it is or where to set it! I feel as if it is the reason my bike isn't running.

That's the pickup for the TCI ignition, you'll have to look in the service manual section for the TCI ignition and not the points. I think the service manual posted on the forums convers both points and tci
