What's your biggest trip on an XS?

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering as I'm thinking about taking my XS for a long trip (1000+ miles) this summer, how much have you all taken yours on big trips?

Where did you go? Did the XS break down at all? What sort of trouble did you run in to? And what was best about your trip (apart from it being with the best kind of bike)? Did you go alone or with more people?

The most I have done is about 350 miles in a single sitting. I went to a mountain pass that happened to be far away; the Kangamangus highway. There were no mechanical issues. My xs400 has never broken down, but I have gone through it top to bottom more than once. The bike did start getting noticeably lean at the top of the mountain, however. I went alone. The best part of the trip was the roads, the view, and having the most unique motorcycle.
