wider wheel at the rear....HOW???

xcuse me folks, but i'd like an advice on this one please. I would like to install an xs650 rear wheel (16 inch diameter) on an xs 250 frame leaving the frame with rear suspension. Fabrication work on the swingarm and frame is no problem for me to do, however, i don't know where to begin....in view of the chain having to move outwards???

why not use a 16" xs400 one?

I was thinking of putting wider rubber...maybe 150mm... that would still pose a probem for the chain...

make a new swing arm then if you can do fab work. you'll need to get an offset front sprocket for the wider wheel.

MMM...an offset is needed for sure...and it can be done, but to tackle the chain track through the frame is a bit of a headache...apart from hindering the aesthetics...I was wondering if i could install a jackshaft...???
