Hey,

So i bought a new headlight for my xs250 (this one to be exact http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291373639529?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

So upon removing my old headlight, I've noticed that the original light had been used to hide connecting wires for the gauges etc.

This will not be possible with the new light as its bottom mounted, with a wire hole of about 1cm.

Has anyone done this or have any suggestions of what i should do to hide these cables?

Cheers

James

You would have to re-wire the bike to shorten and or relocate the wires to another part of the bike. Those type lights are used mostly on choppers that don't use most of the functions that it came with stock.
